Stanley is bringing something special to the California coast this spring. From May 1–9, 2026, the inaugural Santa Monica International Jazz Festival will take over multiple venues across Santa Monica, including Tongva Park, BroadStage, and the Third Street Promenade. Curated by Stanley himself, the festival celebrates the centennial years of jazz legends Miles Davis and John Coltrane while bringing together an exciting mix of established masters and rising artists for a week of music in one of Southern California’s most beautiful settings.

The lineup already includes some incredible names. Kamasi Washington will headline the festival, with additional performances from Stanley Clarke & Friends featuring Kiefer and Keyon Harrold, the Miles Electric Band, Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, KNOWER, Lakecia Benjamin, Isaiah Collier, Elijah Fox, Genevieve Artadi, Billy Mohler, Instant Alter, and more. Along the way, there will be special tributes to John Coltrane and Miles Davis, plus a free day of music on the Third Street Promenade highlighting outstanding L.A. artists and emerging young musicians.

Presale tickets begin February 18 at noon, with public tickets available February 20. A limited number of Early Bird tickets will be offered for the Tongva Park concerts, along with VIP packages that include premium viewing areas, special experiences, and more. Additional artists and events will be announced soon, so stay tuned for updates as the festival takes shape. More information can be found at the festival’s website.
